They found her that morning as they were walking to school, sitting in the shade of a thin lamppost. They thought she was a beggar, clad as she was in a dirty white nightgown and a small, thin overcoat. Yet despite the coat's obvious slightness, it smothered her frail white body, revealing nothing but revealing everything.
Her brown eyes looked out at them, unblinking, and they shivered. For her eyes were empty. Empty.
Empty.
They left without looking back. They ran far, far away. They tried to forget.

Dear Diary,
Today, I am going to die.
My friend Chelsea tells me I'm the weirdest person she's ever met. Sure, I like making little sculptures out of those tiny pieces leftover from soap. I also like drinking my Coke when it's very, very flat and with a pinch of sugar (I always bring sugar packets wherever I go).
But those are just about my only quirks. I'm not weird. I'm as normal as any normal person could be. I even look normal (brown hair, brown eyes, inconspicuous t-shirt and jeans type of clothing). I've never even dyed my hair or bungee jumped. Only got stoned once, don't smoke, and not a drunkard (certainly not a drunkard). Yeah. I

Tilted purple eyes, soft red lips, shiny straight black hair, and pale skin like moonlight. She is beautiful.
And yet no one notices.
She has been sitting on the windowsill for quite some time now, waiting.

But he does not come.
And so she goes on waiting, purple eyes fixed on the blank wall before her.
But he does not come.
And yet she keeps on waiting.
Until her hair falls off her head forming pools of black thread on the white floor,
And she is left bald and naked.
